Mr Arthur Kiong

is the Senior Vice-President and Managing Director of Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts. He was previously Director of Hospitality Operations at Far East Organization where he oversaw the operations of the five Far East Hotels and ten Far East Serviced Residences. Arthur is a veteran in the hotel industry, having spent more than 20 years focusing on hotel operations and sales and marketing, working with The Peninsula Hotel, Hong Kong; The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, New York; The Ritz-Carlton Millennia, Singapore; Hyatt International and Westin Hotels, among others.

 

Chan Ah Chye

 

Tan Sri Dato' (Dr.) Ir. Chan Ah Chye

is Chief Executive of Kumpulan Europlus Bhd. as well as Director of Talam Corporation Bhd. Tan Sri has over 40 years of experience in the property and construction industry. . Tan Sri Chan Ah Chye became a Christian about 5 years ago. His conversion at age 60 is somewhat dramatic. He has exciting story and testimony on his encounter and how he walked through this time of difficulties with the Lord over the last 5 years; always reminding himself he was and is not alone.

 

Chew Weng Chee

 

Ps Dr Chew Weng Chee

is the Senior Pastor of SIB (KL), a rapidly growing English congregation in Malaysia. He was a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist before he gave up his medical career to serve the Lord full time in 1999.He graduated with a Masters degree in Theology from the Regent College Bible School, Vancouver in 1993.  Till March 2007, he was the President of the SIB (Sidang Injil Borneo), Semenanjung, overseeing 31 Bahasa Malaysia churches throughout West Malaysia.  Ps Chew has ministered extensively in Conferences and Church Camps both locally and overseas and has written a book entitled, “Is Life Worth Living?”, a study on the Book of Ecclesiastes.

Mrs Chua Yen Ching

is the Principal of Northlight School who has 25 years of teaching experience. She had held the position of Deputy Director, Sciences Branch, Curriculum Planning and Development Division (CPDD). She was also previously the Principal of Shuqun Secondary School. In 2006, she was involved in the conceptualization of Northlight School (NLS) and since has taken the challenge to be the pioneer principal of NLS

is the senior pastor of Covenant Evangelical Free Church. He has committed himself to over 20 years of faithful expository preaching. Edmund is an esteemed teacher of the Word. He has the widely-recognized gift of making complex things simple. His insightful biblical teachings have made him a sought-after speaker in many major cities. Esteemed by many to be a wise mentor to key Christian leaders, Edmund also serves on the advisory councils of several Christian organizations.

is an accomplished builder and property developer. By the age of forty, Datuk Edward through his OCK group in Singapore had completed numerous highly acclaimed projects including The Singapore General Hospital, Apollo and Adelphi Hotels, and Regency Park Condominium. In his journey of faith, God challenged him to risk everything to build Sutera Harbour Resort. Sutera Harbour Resort is now the iconic resort in Borneo and is making significant impact in the marketplace because of its Kingdom values based management.

 

Francis K Tsui

 

Mr Francis K. Tsui

is the president of Asian Outreach international since June 2007. He has been serving in the leadership of Asian Outreach International since 2002. He continues to serve as the non-Executive President and on the Board of a local private equity firm he co-founded in 2000, ebiz Incubation & Investment Co., and is currently on the boards of several companies. He is also a Deacon at the Union Church Hong Kong. He studied Chinese History, business administration and Missiology and further schooled in Mission & Leadership from the Luther Seminary in Minnesota.

 

Hsieh Fu Hia

 

Mr Hsieh Fu Hua

joined Temasek as a Director on Feburary 1, 2010 and was appointed Executive Director and President from August 1, 2010. He served as Chief Executive Officer and a non-independent director of the Singapore Exchange Limited (“SGX”) from March 2003 to November 2009. Mr Hsieh is a member of the National University of Singapore Board of Trustees and the National Arts Council. Mr Hsieh graduated from the University of Singapore in Business Administration in 1974.

 

Dr John Ng

 

Dr John Ng

is the President of Meta, which provides consultation services to top international corporations. He also serves as the Chair of Eagles Communications Board of Governance and directs the Eagles Leadership Institute programs. He is additionally the Chair of Eagles Mediations and Counseling Center Board of Governance. Well versed in the art of motivation and management, he is a well sought after speaker. His latest books, Dim Sum Leadership and Dim Sum Family have won rave reviews.

 

 

Mr Ken Costa

studied philosophy and law at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and went on to study law and theology at the University of Cambridge. After 30 years working in for an investment bank in the City of London, Mr Costa was named as the Chairman of Lazard International in October 2007. Mr Ken Costa is also the Chairman of Alpha International, which promotes the Alpha course and he is also the Church Warden of Holy Trinity Brompton.

 

 

Mr Kobchai Chirativat

is the President and CEO of Central Pattana Public Company Limited, Thailand's largest and most sophisticated developer of retail property, with the biggest share of Bangkok's retail market at 24%. With almost thirty years of working experience in the industry, Mr Chirathivat brings a wealth of knowledge to the Eagles Leadership Conference. He also holds a degree in political science from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

 

Lim Sion Guan

 

Mr Lim Siong Guan

Group President, joined Government of Singapore Investment Corporation in 2007.  He was the Chairman of the Economic Development Board from October 2006 to June 2009. A former head of the Singapore Civil Service, he was Permanent Secretary in the ministries of Defence, Education and Finance and in the Prime Minister’s Office, and led various major government agencies.  He is an adjunct professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore, instructing on leadership and change management in the public sector.  He is also a Senior Fellow of the Civil Service College, Singapore

 

Low Guat Tin

 

Dr Low Guat Tin

is an Associate Professor in Policy and Leadership Studies at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She has also consulted with many organizations in Singapore and her expertise has also brought her to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Macau, Thailand, Nepal and Philippines. She has also written 18 books and published numerous articles in professional journals.

 

 

Ms Melissa Aratani Kwee

is a civic entrepreneur working between business, government, and community sectors to identify opportunities to educate, enable, and empower creative partnerships that help people live more fulfilled lives. Melissa currently focuses on people issues in a corporate environment serving as VP, Human Capital at Pontiac Land Group, and as a Director of hotel property, Capella Singapore. Melissa has served in several organizations including Halogen Foundation (2006-2010), UNIFEM Singapore (2002-2006), the National Arts Council (2008-present), and Beautiful People (2006-present).

 

Michael Burchell

 

Dr Michael Burchell, Ed.D

is a corporate Vice President with Great Place to Work® Institute and a partner in the Institute's UAE affiliate.  A sought after speaker at conferences around the world, he has worked with senior leaders in positioning the workplace as a competitive business advantage.  Michael is co-author of The Great Workplace:  How to Build, How to Keep It, and Why It Matters.  He received his doctorate from the University of Massachusetts.

CFA is presently the Chief Executive Officer of Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited (“KEST”).  Mr. Sornpaisarn has over 20 years of working experience in the securities, investment banking and fund management businesses. Prior to joining KEST, he worked for Jardine Fleming Thanakom, American International Assurance, SG Asia Credit and Vickers Ballas Securities (Thailand).  He was also a Governor of The Stock Exchange of Thailand’s Board of Director during May 2001 – May 2003.

Prof Neo Boon Siong

is a Visiting Professor and former Director of the Asia Competitiveness Institute at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in NUS and former Dean of NTU’s Nanyang Business School. He is a Director on the Boards of OCBC Bank, Great Eastern Holdings Ltd, Great Eastern Life Ltd, Overseas Assurance Ltd, Keppel Offshore and Marine Ltd, J Lauritzen Singapore, and English XChange Pte Ltd. He serves on the Securities Industry Council and the Income Tax and GST Review Boards. He is a leading expert in strategy, process and organisational change. He has advised many major corporations and government agencies, facilitated strategy workshops, and led management development programs for senior executives and government officials.

 

Meixi Ng

 

Ms Ng Meixi

is a recent graduate of Northwestern University with a major in Education and Social Policy. Her experiences in India, Myanmar, and Thailand led her to co-found The Amber Initiative, an organization dedicated to building a movement for youth in Southeast Asia. For her commitment to social justice, Meixi was named a Goldman Sachs Global Leader in 2009. She was also the Circumnavigators Scholar for 2010 and was awarded a fellowship to study how schools can be tools for transformation in marginalized communities.

Mr Peter Chao

is the Founder-President of Eagles Communications. His often trenchant observations on the pains and aspirations of human life make him an effective motivational speaker. Besides leading Eagles, he also sits on the Board of Trustees of Fuller Theological Seminary, USA. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in leadership at the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management, Claremont Graduate University, USA

 

Robert Solomon

 

Bishop Dr Robert Solomon

is the Bishop of the Methodist Church in Singapore. He had served previously as a medical doctor, pastor of two churches, and principal of Trinity Theological College. He holds a PhD in pastoral theology from the University of Edinburgh. He has written several books and contributed articles to books, theological dictionaries, and journals, and sits on the editorial board of Conversations, an international journal on spiritual formation.

is President and Managing Consultant of Linkage_Asia.  Linkage is a global leader in leadership development and organizational consulting.  He is also the executive coach to a number of notable chief executives and directed leadership development for top teams in the region. Prior to his appointment at Linkage, Sam was the Managing Consultant for Towers Perrin Singapore and was Director of the HayGroup in Singapore before he joined Towers Perrin.  Sam graduated with a B.A. from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles and an M.A. from the National University of Singapore.

is President of the Lippo Group of companies.  Lippo Group consists of private and listed companies throughout the Asia-Pacific region, with over US$10 billion in assets and approximatelyUS$4 billion annual revenues.  Among his many directorships, he is Executive Chairman of Overseas Union Enterprise Limited and Executive Director of Auric Pacific Group Limited, both listed companies in Singapore, and is Chairman of Lippo Limited which is listed in Hong Kong.  Graduated from the University of Southern California, he holds a Master Degree of Business Administration of the Golden Gate University, USA, an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Business Administration of Napier University, UK and an Honorary University Fellowship of Hong Kong Baptist University.

 

Suraj Upadhiah

 

Mr Suraj Prakash Upadhiah

is a co-founder and Director of The Amber Initiative. He is currently immersed in the study of human rights. He is a passionate radical who has set his sights to using his future skills as a lawyer to effect structural change in the world. He has grown to have a keen ear to the plight of human trafficking. Suraj is behind most of The Amber Initiative's projects. He has traveled extensively across numerous countries exploring, experiencing, and engaging unceasingly with humanity.
